Sole distributor organized uninterrupted supply of medicaments to patient care institutions. As of today the plan is carried out up to 99,9%.

A half-yearly reserve was founded in 2011, in December 2010 for all remedies and the year’s supply on socially important diseases, keeping this position above the “safe three-month level” during 2011.

Moreover, in order to improve service quality, necessary reserves were made in hard-to-reach areas in winter season.

“SK-Pharmaceuticals” company saved 4.5 billion tenge from budgetary funds thanks to two-stage tender procedures in 2010. The purchase amount increased in home manufacturers (up to 49% in natural units).

Last year the “SK-Pharmaceuticals” company concluded 8 long-term contracts on medicaments purchase with home manufacturers. At present there are 9 contracts. Thanks to the concluded long-term contracts with home manufacturers the projects started its work on modernization of existent and construction of new industries in accordance with international standards to the sum of more than 30 billion tenge.

Expansion of kazakh manufacture is very important for the state. Firstly, it is medicamental and economical security. Home drugs have moderate prices. Secondly, it will increase the productivity in this field in 2.5 times and create extra highly skilled work places. Thirdly, it is an export orientation of our manufactures. Within the framework of customs union the drugs market will be considerably enlarged for home manufacturers (from 1 billion of US dollars to 17 billion of US dollars.

It will be remembered that, the “SK-Pharmaceuticals” LLP deals with purchase and supply of patient care institutions with medicaments and medical facilities for inpatient treatment within the bounds of Uniform national system of public health. One exception - is blood-coagulation factors for hemophiliacs and insulin for diabetics. And only for patients-adults. Medicaments purchasing and supply for favourable provision and ambulatory treatment are executed by local bodies of pubic health.

“SK-Pharmaceuticals” LLP is founded in February 2009 for the purpose of increase of stability and competitiveness of pharmaceutical industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan by means of consolidation of public purchase of medicaments. “Samruk-Kazyna” National welfare fund” JSK is a part of this structure.
