“SK-Pharmaceuticals” company on information, spread by charitable foundation “Protection of children against AIDS” concerning situation on anti-retroviral medicine, informs of the following.
Original (brand) anti-retroviral medicine is purchased for children, despite WHO guidelines and international standards on high-grade generics.
Two-stage tender is fixed on the 8-th of February (opening of envelopes with bids), and February 22 – second stage (price bids acceptance using auction). This information can be obtained from the site of Sole distributor www.sk-pharma.kz. Medicaments supply will be executed to medical institutions in April of the current year.
“According to monitoring data and center “Mother and child” (Shymkent) anti-retroviral medicine for children in South region of Kazakhstan will be in disposal at the least till June of the current year, and on some positions till the end of the year. Therefore, application for absence of medicaments is not correct. The drugs will be purchased and supplied on time. Besides that, we supervise a situation on medicaments supply on a regular basis” – reported Arnur Nurtaiev, the director of marketing and development of “SK-Pharmaceuticals” LLP.
Moreover, preparation Stavudin, original name Zerit is substituted for Zidovudin, originally Retrovir, in consideration of therapy change on WHO recommendation. According to the data of “Republican center on AIDS control” the reason of the drug’s substitution was higher efficiency of Zidovudin at revision of clinical protocols on AIDS/HIV treatment for European region of WHO as of October 7, 2010.
It will be remembered that, the “SK-Pharmaceuticals” LLP deals with purchase and supply of patient care institutions with medicaments and medical facilities for inpatient treatment within the bounds of Uniform national system of public health. One exception - is blood-coagulation factors for hemophiliacs and insulin for diabetics. And only for patients-adults. Medicaments purchasing and supply for favourable provision and ambulatory treatment are executed by local bodies of pubic health.
