According to the results of 4 months 2011 as compared with similar period of the last year, “SK-Pharmaceuticals” company increased net shipments in 3.6 times from 6.4 billion tenge (2010) to 23.3 billion tenge.

The company concluded contracts with medical organizations to the sum of 31.3 billion tenge. At the expense of new contracts and extra applications of medical organizations, the sum of contracts concluded reached 44.11 billion tenge as of the 1-st of May. In comparison with similar period of 2010 the growth of contracts sum comprised 24% (8.38 billion tenge).

At present “SK-Pharmaceuticals” company works on the development of Sole distributor infrastructure. The International company Ernst&Young in partnership with Groenewout International company, international expert in the sphere of logistic service, developed a distribution model and defined placement of storehouses.

According to the proposed model the line of own pharmaceutical storehouses of the Sole distributor must be founded during the period of 3 years, which will be consisted of 5 storehouses of the 1-st level in Alamaty (main storehouse), Astana, Shymkent, Aktobe, Ust-Kamenogorsk. The storehouses area will be from 7000 till 12000 square meters subject to storage volume. In other regions 11 storehouses of the 2-nd level will be built (near 1000 square meters – each).

Customs warehouses for import will be located in Almaty and Astana storehouses. The storage of half-yearly and year’s supply will be provided in the 1-st level storehouses. 2-month supply will be in the second level storehouse.

The “SK-Pharmaceuticals” LLP deals with purchase and supply of patient care institutions with medicaments and medical facilities for inpatient treatment within the bounds of Uniform national system of public health. One exception - is blood-coagulation factors for hemophiliacs and insulin for diabetics. And only for patients-adults. Medicaments purchasing and supply for favourable provision and ambulatory treatment are executed by local bodies of pubic health.

“SK-Pharmaceuticals” LLP is founded in February 2009 for the purpose of increase of stability and competitiveness of pharmaceutical industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan by means of consolidation of public purchase of medicaments. “Samruk-Kazyna” National welfare fund” JSK is a part of this structure.
