Kazakh surgeons performed successful surgeries in kids with complex cardiac failures

ALMATY. KAZINFORM Kazakh surgeons jointly with the South Korean colleagues performed six successful surgeries in kids with complex cardiac failures, cardiac surgeons of the Syzganov National Scientific Surgery Centre told a special press conference in Almaty.
The surgeries are part of the master-classes of the From heart to heart program and dated to Children's Day. 40 surgeons from the countrywide take part in the open-heart and endovascular surgeries. Cardiac surgeons working at the leading South Korean clinics were invited to teach those master classes.
About 3,000 children are born annually in Kazakhstan with congenital heart diseases.
