Kazakhstan to offer free early cancer detection diagnostics

The Pavlodar, Kyzylorda, North Kazakhstan, Akmola regions, the cities of Astana and Almaty launched a program to treat cancer patients from diagnostics till their rehabilitation following the international protocols.

It is purposed to examine people with chronic diseases which may causer development of tumours. 

The project customer is the Kazakh Healthcare and Social Development Ministry. The project contractors are the National Oncology and Transplantology Research Centre of Kazakhstan jointly with University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC, Pittsburg, USA).
