The medicine production volume in Kazakhstan within the last 5 years grew by 3 times, the Responsible Secretary of Kazakhstan Health Ministry Serikbol Musinov said during the meeting of the Social and Cultural Development Committee, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"Following the results of 2013, the domestic producers released medicines for the sum of 33.5 bln tenge what is three times or by 10 bln tenge more in 2008," Serikbol Musinov informed.
According to him, in volume terms it makes 37%.
"The purchase share of domestic production medicines and products used for medical purposes by the Uniform Distributor during the last year made nearly 76% of total amount," he concluded.
