Healthcare Ministry to host panel session at Astana Economic Forum

During the panel session it is planned to consider questions of improvement of the outpatient care, health system informatization, etc., the forum's official website reports. 

Purposes of the session are to increase of availability and improvement of quality of medical care to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan at out-patient level, and discussion of integrated approaches to the solution of questions of health system informatization.

It is expected that participants of will offer new initiatives and recommendations about development of an optimum model of primary health care and its principles, development of mechanisms of interdepartmental integration with sector of PHC and formation of steady system of interaction between the doctor and the patient, to improvement of financing of the out-patient and polyclinic help, etc. The Nobel Prize laureates, Ministers of Health of the countries of CIS and non-CIS countries, WHO representatives, the World Bank, pharmaceutical companies and other interested bodies and the organizations are expected to take the floor.

Today in the world much attention is paid to health care questions, interest of the countries in joint actions grows. The world possesses more perfect technologies and higher level of knowledge which allow it to receive the highest return from changes in health systems functioning.

Active participation of civil society in collective global discussion of health care problems will allow to increase chances of success even more.
