Pharmaceutical Factory of Pavlodar

“Pharmaceutical Factory of Pavlodar” LLP (PFP) entered the holding “ROMAT” in 1999. It was founded in 1992 as wholesale and retail pharmacy structure, for the short period of time became the large-scale pharmaceutical company, organized by the principle of “vertical integration” – where all processes from the output of drugs to the delivery of the final product to a client are united.

After reconstruction in 2000, the plant had several floors: section of module construction of tableting and capsule production and three packing lines, and some storages in 1000 square metres as well.

Annual output up to 0,3 billion of tablets a year does not afford to satisfy the needs of Kazakhstan totally and enter foreign markets.

In 2007 the industrial production of antituberculous preparation of the main line and delivery to health stations was started. That year the output of capsulated form of drugs and tablets, covered by film was opened.

Plant laboratory is equipped with modern high-precision testing equipment, allowing implementing the quality control. For the first time in Kazakhstan this plant started to use up to date technologies of tableting and capsulating, and new auxiliary materials as well.

In 2008 the first investigations on the development of children's antituberculous preparation were started at this factory.

Nowadays there are medicaments of various therapeutic groups: vitamins, antimicrobial and cardiovascular preparations, anti-fever, antituberculous and antidiabetic agents. It is important that the method of wet granulation was substituted to the straight compression one, that considerably shortens the industrial process and enhances output of the end product.

Manufacturing capacity of Pavlodar plant is - 1billion and 200 mln. of tablets and capsules a year.
