Pharmaceutical company “ROMAT” – is one of the leading enterprises of Kazakhstan. It was founded in 1992 as a wholesale and retail firm, nowadays it’s a large-scale pharmaceutical plant, which includes 3 modern plants under one name, producing drugs, biopreparation and polymeric medical products, and national distributor line and retail chain of chemist's shops as well.

Main goal of the company – timely provision of the home market with high-quality pharmaceutical preparation and wide range of associated goods.

The “Romat” plants are equipped with up to date technics according to the requirements of GMP. It gives a possibility to output the production complying with the world quality standards. There are produced tableted and capsulated drugs, infusion solutions, galenical-packaging products and enzymatic agents. Medical goods plant of the “Romat” company is the single plant in Kazakhstan, producing three-component single-use syringes. The assortment counts more than 130 items of preparation; nearly all of them are vitally important and socially significant.

The “Romat” company is a distributor of national level, operating over the whole territory of Kazakhstan. Regional line counts 18 branches in all large cities of the country. In 2006 the office was opened in Beijing.

“Romat” has long-term partner relations with more than 120 companies, producing medical agents and equipment. Product assortment always has a production of such famous manufacturers as Elai Lilly (Switzerland), Glakso Smith Klein (Great Britain), Nestle (Switzerland), Nikomed (Austria), Novonordisk (Denmark), Pfaiser (USA), Shering AG (Germany), Sanofi….

The important competitive advantage of the company is an existence of automotive regional storages projected in accordance with SanPiN norms and GDP Standards.

Each of them has a possibility to place more than 120 th. of cubic meters of goods. All storages are equipped with one information system and modern handling facility.

The “Romat” company is a six fold winner of the contest “Choice of the year” in the nomination “Pharmaceutical Producer #1 in Kazakhstan”. These awards confirm the high status of “Romat”. In April In European Parliament (Brussels) the company “Romat” was awarded by prestigious prize of EMRC.

In October 2006 the company was honoured with international award – “Lieder of National Economics 2006”. This prize means a possibility to introduce innovations, promoting active development.
